Pinned at last!!

Here are some of the pictures from Stephanie's recent Nursing Pinning Ceremony...it was wonderful and such a proud moment. It is interesting to note that approximately 50% of the class that started with Stephanie in Nursing I (there are four semesters) did not make it through the program. It is a difficult and demanding program and I am so happy she made it through OK!! My DH Bob and my Dad, Steph's boyfriend Bob, her Dad and Step-mother, her step-sister and one of her best friends were her cheering section. Yes, we were lucky to have gotten enough tickets for all of us. There must have been about 400 people - the County College of Morris' auditorium was FULL!!

The Actual Pinning on stage....

My Dad, me, Stef and my DH Bob

Me, Stef and her dad, Tom

(unfortunately - the rest of the family and friend pics taken here were really blurry)

The Three Musketeers; Stef, Paul and Cindy

Stef and Chairperson Felix-Leo Jurado...one of the best (but toughest) of her professors

Stef and her new beau, Bob

Sfef and Dr. Bette Simmons, VP of Student Affairs & Enrollment Services, and one of my dear friends

Sorry this is blurry but I had to put it in...
Stef and Dr. Edward Yaw, President of the College
He has known Stef since she was in 4th grade - as our children did shows together.
(One of my best net-working moments was when I was Donald's "mother" when he was Winthrop and I, Mrs. Paroo, in The Music Man - Stef was in the general cast.)

Stef and her Bob at our celebratory dinner at The Barn, a lovely restauant by the college, where we went right after the ceremony.
